All the visa process is done in person at the Australia Visa Application center Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The biometric is required for all applicants, and additional charges will be paid by the applicant for the bio metric and visa processing by Australian Visa Application Center.
Do you need a visa before traveling to Australia?
No matter how long you are planning to travel Australia, all visitors to Australia are required to obtain a Visa. The only exception is if you’re a citizen of New Zealand. There are several different types of Australian Visitor visas available.
Visitor Visas
For people travelling to Australia for a holiday, recreation or to visit family and friends. If you apply for this visa in Australia, you must be in Australia when the visa is decided. If you apply for this visa outside Australia, you must be outside Australia when the visa is decided.
A Visitor visa allowing a stay in Australia of up to 3 or 6 or 12 months. Applicants can apply from both outside and in Australia.
Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601)
Visit Australia as often as you wish in a 12-month period. Stay up to 3 months each time you enter Australia.
Medical Treatment visa Subclass 602
This temporary visa is for people to travel to or remain longer in Australia for medical treatment or to support someone needing medical treatment who holds or has applied for this visa. It is also for people who are donating an organ.
eVisitor (subclass 651)
An eVisitor is a free visa for eligible passport holders outside Australia who want to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes.
Visit Australia as often as you wish in a 12-month period. Stay up to 3 months each time you enter Australia.
Transit visa (subclass 771)
This visa lets people be in Australia for up to 72 hours before they must leave Australia. Maritime Crew visa holders can use it to enter Australia by air to join a non-military ship. Some people are eligible to transit without a visa.
Visitor (subclass 600)
The Visitor visa (subclass 600) is for people who want to travel Australia as tourists, for business or to visit family. It is a temporary visa.
Tourist stream (apply outside Australia)
This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to go on a cruise or to see family and friends.
Sponsored family stream
This visa stream lets people who are sponsored, usually by a family member, come to Australia to visit their family members.
Approved Destination Status stream
This visa stream is for citizens from certain areas of China visiting Australia on a tour organised by an approved travel agent.
Frequent traveller stream
This visa stream is for citizens of the People’s Republic of China who travel often to Australia for business or personal reasons.
Tourist stream (apply in Australia)
This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment.
Business visitor stream
This visa stream lets you visit Australia for business reasons.
